Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts

Mountview was founded in 1945 and is recognised as one of the country's leading Academies of Theatre Arts, offering an extensive and stimulating training for those interested in pursuing a performance, directing or technical theatre career.

Its courses are structured to give students a thorough grounding in all aspects of their chosen field. They work with experienced teaching staff and also with working directors, set designers, lighting and sound designers, choreographers, actors and stage management.

Mountview has a strong commitment to training in television with its specialised requirements and students are given opportunities to work with the Academy's professional television staff. Acting students also study radio technique. After completing their chosen course, many of its students have gone on to enjoy highly successful careers in all media.
